The only season Tom Brady has had a losing record is his 23rd season.  Not his only transgression against Tom Brady.  After scoring the game tying TD in the 2021 NFC Divisional Round, Todd Bowles inexplicably plays a soft-prevent defense.  Allowing Cooper Kupp to catch an uncontested 20-yard pass.  The very next play, Bowles, the Defensive Coordinator at the time, plays zero safety help and Stafford throws a 44-yard bomb to Kupp.  Man-to-man against the best receiver in the league that year with no safety help.  A 63-yard and 43 second drive to kick the game winning field goal.  

Tonight's Bucs-Cowboys NFC Wild Card round.  Score is 12-0.  4th & 3 to go at the Tampa Bay 47-yard line.  Bowles decides to punt.  Coward.  Dallas goes down the field and scores another TD right before halftime.  18-0 score going into half.  

Five full seasons as a head coach with .405 winning percentage and four losing seasons.

2.) Mauricio Pochettino

Argentinian Soccer Coach (thankfully out of a job currently)

Pochettino gets gifted a front three of Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi.  A trio rivaling the talent of the famed Barcelona trident.  Consisting of Neymar, Suarez, and Messi.  With all of this talent, only managing to come away with the Uber Eats title.  During the 2021/2022 Ligue 1 season, Lionel Messi played in 26 matches.  He scored 6 goals.  The same amount when he debuted in 2005.  Messi scored SEVEN at the 2022 Qatar World Cup in SEVEN matches.  His worst season ever as a professional.  Winning his 7th Ballon D'Or the year prior to being terrorized by Poch.  And as soon as Poch was fired, Messi is on his way to his 8th Ballon D'Or.

3.)  Tony Bennett

University of Virginia Men's Basketball Coach

The coach behind the sport's only #16 seed upset over not just a #1 seed, but the #1 overall seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.  A playstyle that is a crime against the sport.  Here are the PPG statistics per season and rank of PPG in the country for Division 1 basketball for Virginia under Bennett's tenure:

To score 57 points a game in the 30-second shot clock era is a crime against humanity.  You have to be actively trying to not score in order to achieve such a feat.  I would root for Duke before I cheered for a Tony Bennett coached team.

The Start of My Taylor Era

A Day of Mourning, Remembrance, & Celebration

February 5th, 2012 The day I fell in love with Tom Brady.  Preparing to watch Super Bowl XLVI with friends, I watched as Tom Brady emerged from the tunnel.  I said something to the effect of, "that's Jesus on a football field."  Not proud of the heretical statement, but the point stands.  Watching Tom Brady take the field that night was one of the most impactful moments in all my years of being a sports fan.  A night that ultimately ended in disappointment.  But I didn't care, I was hooked.  The Super Bowl loss to the New York Football Giants, leading to a loss to Joe Flacco in the AFC championship game during his  elite  run, and followed by an unbearable loss to the Peyton-led Broncos.  Three years of disappointments and my reverence for #12 did not waiver.  At 37, the Patriots got blown out at Arrowhead in the infamous 2014 loss to the Chiefs.  On the Monday Night Football postgame coverage following the game, Trent Dil...

Taylor's Error Tour
